What smells like Irish Spring soap?

I want to buy a fragrance that smells similar to Irish Spring soap, that elixir of early mornings.
What do you recommend?

Gendarme Green.

What about Guerlain Vetiver? And, if you are adventuresome....try Hermes Eau des Merveilles. It has vetiver and lots of Ambroxan (smells like ambergris). It is a nice clean, soapy smell. I am addicted to it. I had a woman ask me this past week what soap I had just used at the gym....I hadn't had a shower since earlier in the morning! Now, it's not Irish Spring soap but it's soapy.

This is going to sound completely out of left field, but when I first got a sample of CdG Incense: Zagorsk, I didn't know what to make of it. It was kind of musty and vegetal. It smelled of green beans yet kind of clean as well...

Then a week later I thought I smelled Zagorsk on this guy I worked with. I knew he wasn't the type of guy to wear CdG, but I asked anyway. I asked him what fragrance he was wearing... he just kind of squinted his eyes, looked at me and spat out, "Irish Spring. Why?"

Sorry to reactivate an old topic like this, but as nobody stated yet:
If you are still interested, I heard that Mugler Cologne smells really REALLY close to Irish Spring. Give it a try! ;]

I'm not sure if Irish Spring "Sport" is still existent (I used to use this bar soap several years ago) but Clean Shower Fresh smells exactly like it.

Lucky You is probably the closest thing to Irish Spring out there. Mugler Cologne smells like Brylcreem to me.

Yep! Lucky You smells exactly like Irish Spring in a cologne form. Good call! Even the bottle and juice are the same color with a shamrock on it.

I remember that at some time in the past, the vintage Tosca EdC by Muelhens/4711 (which by the way i don't believe is in the directory) reminded me of Irish Spring Soap.

cheers

Not tried it yet but weren't a lot of people comparing Pure Shot to Irish Spring?

Yep. This has been compared with Irish Spring soap ever since it was released.

I haven't tried it, but I've heard that Creed's Green Valley is a good match.

This may seem like a joke, but for me it really captures what you are looking for:

It's called Irisch Moos - actually Sir Irisch Moos.

It's made by M+W the makers of Tabac Original and I came to know about it from the shaving forums as the quality of their shaving soap was really good. It can be hard to find, but with Google and eBay I'm sure you can get it easily. It's very affordable and is a great scent for Spring.
