I only smell sweeter frags in the club...

Yesterday I was in the club...

I had to admit that I smelled all the time a frag on a guy which was very sweet and sensual. Of course I asked him... It was JPG Le male! This one is very very popular here in Germany...nearly every guy wears this one...

I was thinking of this sweeter vanilla frags and I only smelled sweet frags the whole night. I think all other frags cannot cut through the smoke, filthy air and so on....

Now I am planning to buy a special club fragrance...

I aready have got Le male.

What would you suggest from these ones?

ooooh I HATE Le Male, every guy in London wears the stuff.

I recommend John Varvatos, I my self aint too fond of it, but you might like it as its smells like a club frag.

Le Male is everywhere here too... boring...

I'd suggest you also try out Escada Magnetism. It's very unique. It's also sweet and can cut through anything... just don't wear it on hot days. I actually kind of forgot about Magnetism... I should wear it next time I go clubbing.

When I know I am going to have a monster celebration, nothing comes close to an excessive amount of Fahrenheit!
Powerful sillage, very distinct, lively, good quality, good longevity and chicks dig it 8-).

If you like Le Male, you might also like Laguna by Dali. It's more on the aquatic side, but to my mind quite comparable...

I recently sampled Gucci Pour Homme and was blown away man. You mentioned you like sweeter vanilla frags -- I think you would enjoy Gucci PH then. The sample lasted all day too. It's on my Fathers' Day list!

Being in Germany, I'm surprised you haven't considered Joop! Homme.

From you list, however, I'd choose D&GPH and Dreamer, Rochas Man doesn't cut through the smoke well, and Bk can choke a man even in cooler situations.

Either Body Kouros for the superior sweet one, or Dreamer for something different from just about anything else (except to the people who inexplicably say it's the same as D&G Homme).

Wait a minute. Is this referring to Gucci pour Homme by Gucci (2003)? I don't detect a hint of vanilla in this, and I wouldn't call it "sweet" either. It reminds me of a campfire.

The first few times I smelt Gucci PH I went straight back to my days as a boy scout, "Campfires Burning Campfires Burning, Draw Nearer Draw Nearer...!"

I don't think that only the sweeter fragrances are powerful enough to cut through the smoke in the clubs....

Here are some non-sweet frags that are very powerful:

Antaeus
Kouros
Issey Miyake L'Eau Bleue
L'Eau d'Issey
Azzaro PH
VC&A
L'Essence de Declaration (it's so strong that it gave me a headache when I tried it)
