Sent you guys a PM.

Hi guys!

The "send to multiple" pm option doesn't seem to work right. :P

Whatcha say we set up our own small offline swap-list? Let's keep it simple by using emails and "reply to all". Here's how it'll work:

1. Everyone send me a PM with their email addy and your items up for swap/sale.

2. I'll compile the list, fire it off to everyone. We can then try to swap/negotiate for frags. Always use "reply to all" so that we all know if a frag is no longer available.

Whatcha guys think?

Sounds good!
Should have read this before I setup a topic in that swap/sell thread.
You mentioned decants swapping in your first post. Does that mean creating small Atomizer bottles from your large bottles?
I can't seem to find any good bottles of the right size around.

Yeah, they're hard to find here.

Actually, you do have a point. We could just use a thread in the swap forum. Hmm.

Question : Where do you guys usually get your perfume in Singapore at a good price?

I used to get mine from departmental stores with the impression that their goods are more "fresh", till I strolled into Lucky Plaza with quite a few shops selling at almost 30% off retail prices. So, I bought one. Was it just psychological or it is true that the perfumes sold at LP are diluted/fake? They don't seem to last as long as the ones I got from Departmental stores. Â*:-X
post #28 of 46
yo, those at lucky plaza are the older goods(i think) but they do have new ones too. If you go to lucky plaza, there are a few good shops and the only bad one i know is at the 2nd level where u see the whole shelf is packed with them. They sell overpriced > The fun you get when you purchase there is cheaper and u can sometimes find rare and great gems at low prices!! ;D

Escential at Raffles Hotel, do they have baie de Geneviere by Creed? My mother and sister are going to Singapore, if they have it, want to get a bottle and how much?

I think they might have it, yup. Let me email them and ask.
Raskae, thanks a bunch!!!! Have you also smelled Eternity Summer? What do you think of it? Any new summer fragrances that you do like?

In Jakarta, they don't import seasonal scents, some independent stores do but I can't count on it.

Eternity Summer is quite good, actually. I'd buy it if I dedn't have so many colognes to try to go through first (see my wardrobe... i literally have all those in my closet).

The newest would have to be Polo Black, which is all right, but nothing "unique" in my opinion. It's just not distinct. It's not like Very Irresistable, or L'Instant, or Rive Gauche, which you can immediately recognize. It just smells like a blend of Acqua Di Gio and Chrome.

for evenings, i quite like CK Obsession Night.
Hahaha, I thought I was bad! I usually buy the smallest bottle that I can get,so eventhough I get bored with a particular scent, I'm able to get through a bottle pretty quickly. I also save some just in case I want to wear it again in the future.

Let me know about the Creed! Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, all the Creed perfumes are $262 unless it's a special limited edition.

I know that GIT, Himalaya, SMW, OV, OS, etc are available in the small, medium and large bottle. If I can, I'm interested in the small or medium bottle, just in case I get bored with the scent.
Creed from Escentials only carry the 75ml bottles and costs $262 SGD each [smiley=shocked.gif]
Guys, have you seen empty perfume atomizer (glass) being sold in Singapore?

hello yes have seen! glass atomizers seem to be available in Sasa now for $4.90. The cheapest i've seen... plastic ones kinda suck even though they're cheaper. does anyone have a way to clear out the nozzle so i can reuse my atomizer or should i just get another one?
TO CLEAN IT ... pump some good quality alcohol or perfumers alcohol thru it ...
Say all you Singaporeans ............ Have any of you seen Furyo around anywhere ?

I just caught up with my friend J on the phone and asked if anyone has said "hello" yet and he said no.

Come on Singapore people, help me out!

http://www.anthropology.com.sg/Stores/

Just tell whomever is working to tell J that Bill said hi!

(Not meant as an ad for the store, I promise! They don't sell cologne!!!)
