Hi i e-mailed a week ago to Bond No 9,asking some questions like:

Where I can find his fragances in Europe?

I interesed in buy samples?

Really I don't understand why they cannot answer this, when this reverberates in a potential client at the same time as it is a lack of education and respect. I think that this only take 2 seconds
Believe me If this one is his way of acting, I augur a dark future of this house.

Wow, are you sure?

I remember contacting Bond No. 9 last year asking about samples and they said I could buy some at a really low cost. They even called my house and I talked to one of the representatives. She was nice and it was a New York to Vancouver call paid on their cost. Also I dont think they made any money on the samples, I think they only charged me shipping.

The only thing I really disliked was that the SA kept on going on and on about Bond No.9 like I knew nothing about it, how every scent represented or was named after a street or neighborhood in New York.

LOL! That is so funny! Is it because we're Canadians? LOL! Next time you should tell her about Basenotes, and while you're at it lecture her about Basenotes.

Maybe they didn't receive the email.....or it's in their spam folder.
Unfortunately this does happen sometimes.

E-mail is not 100% reliable. Sometime it is not delviered correctly and sometimes it ends up being categorized as spam without a technically challenged business recipient even realizing it. And even a well-run business may lose track of a message that deserved a timely response, or may just not place a very high priority on respondng to email messages. Rather than fixating on the (perhaps not so grave) disrespect they have shown you, why don't you try sending them a second message with a subject line including the phrase "(Second Request)" and see if you get a response to that?

That does sound pretty unprofessional, though as was mentioned, emails can be "lost" very easily.

I recently bought 5 samples for $5 through www.beautycafe.com, they are very helpful and have good prices on some niche frags.
