Â* Yesterday my SOTE was, MUD. Â*Perhaps a more poetic way saying it would be MITTI. Â*Mitta Attar that is! Â*Pray tell SixCats!, what is Mitta Attar ? Â*A brief discription : "MITTI" is EARTH (or mud) from a region in India. Â* Master craftsmen (using a thousands year old method) loving and gently steam the MITTI in large Copper sealed pots (degs). Â*The steam (the ESSENCE) of the MITTI travels through long Bamboo pipes and is recaptured in another pot containing SANDALWOOD oil. Â*This is where the MAGIC happens! Â*The OIL and ESSENCE combine in a looooong, sloooow embracing dance that (depending on the fragrance being made (in this case MITTI) can take as long as FOUR weeks just to make one batch! Â*The end result ? Â*The most BEAUTIFUL, NATURAL, fragrances know to man! Â*Recently, I was most fortunate to acquire a sample/decant of MITTI from a friend (who ASSURED me) that this sample of MITTI ATTAR was the REAL DEAL. Â*You see, in India, there a fewer and fewer makers of Attars that continue to use the centuries old TRADITIONAL method. Â*Today, (even in India) many "so called" Attars are produced in large factories and mixed with synthics...these are NOT the REAL DEAL! Â*While I am not claiming to be a expert on ATTARS (yet) my nose tell me that the sample of MITTI ATTAR I wore yesterday IS the REAL DEAL! Â*Unlike so many other fragrances Oils I have sampled in the past, this is MUCH different and just plain smells...NATURAL! Â*I am here to tell you, wearing this MITTI ATTAR was a true pleasure! Â* The decant of the REAL DEAL Attar given to me by a friend that I wore yesterday came from a shop (previously unknow to me) WWW.TIGERFLAG.COM Â*I highly suggest that you (as did I) check out Tiger Flag as Â*they have several other REAL DEAL Attars and other goodies! Â*This much I can tell you, obtaining (the REAL DEAL) Attars will DEFINITIVELY be in SixCats! future!
