Ugh. Sort of bland and sweet. I get something faintly marine and an overripe banana.

With all due respect, those are their opinions. what matters most is your own, if you like it, wear it. if it doesn't stop women in their tracks don't worry about it, it won't get you dirty looks or insults either.

I like it a lot. and I wear it.

It's a decent enough scent ... but I rarely reach for it. There are so many better scents out there in this category ( Soprani Uomo or Creed Vetiver 1948 to name a few ).

I'm sure this will be on my swaplist soon.

I'd say it depends on how cheap you can get it. Maybe if you don't like it, you could put it on your swaplist. I think it smells a bit like Platinum Egoiste, Paco XS and stuff like that, so if you like these but don't have them...
