Verdict on Rykiel homme?

Is it good? Does it last? Sillage? What can you compare it to? I'm thinking of swapping for it, but I just want to see what people think of it first. The reviews on the scent page are lacking. Yay or nay?

Not the best fragrance in the world, but if you`re looking some fresh, subtle aromatic juice, then you`ve found yourself a winner.

Lasting power is decent.

Rykiel is awesome.

What will you swap for it?

I have Pi Fraiche on my swaplist, and someone has Rykiel it on their swaplist and the PF on their wishlist. The PF is just too sweet and I can't wear it. Ha, i'm pretty sure Rykiel isn't quite that strong and sweet... :P

the other fresh scents I have are Mugler Cologne, Live Jazz, Echo, MI (lasts like an hour on me!!! but it smells sooo good)and I guess I consider Bleecker Street fresh. I like them all, but I've had to go through tons of purchases and swaps to find a lineup of clean scents that work for me; i'm quite picky about them and generally don't like them much.

Rykiel looks like it COULD work, based on the note chart, but you never know. That's why i'm asking you guys

Can't recommend Rykiel. Go for CK Escape instead. The two are somewhat comparable, but Escape exudes a fuller, meatier, sparklier presence whereas Rykiel has a weaker, sharper, sweeter, more sissified presence. Also, judging from a few of the scents you just named, I really think you'd find Rykiel just too sweet for your tastes.
