Name: Lucky number 6

The number six, in Chinese culture, is said to be lucky, making the name a natural for the first Lucky-branded fragrances.

Fragrance genre: warm floral.

-top notes are of tiger lily, living osmanthus, peony and crushed lotus leaves.
-heart is of jasmine tea, wet lychee and shiso
-base is of amber, cashmere woods and musk.

Lucky Number 6 for Men's
Nose(s): Clement Gavarry, Jean-Marc Chaillan and Loc Dong (IFF)
Fragrance genre: "a mysterious, woody fougère."

-top: watery greens, balanced with bergamot, neroli and pineapple zest.

The women's fragrance is presented in a frosted glass bottle adorned with red flowers and topped with a red cap, which was inspired by vintage Chinese fragrance bottles. The packaging was designed by Paul McLaughlin and Thomas Bateman, and the bottle manufacturers were Brosse and SGD for the women's and men's, respectively.

Hydroponic Plum? Er, a plum that grows in water? Not earth, like at WDW's Epcot's The Land pavillon. :-/

Or a very, very synthetic plum note?

Well I really like Lucky You for Men, so I'll give it a shot if I ever see it. Sounds like it will be something like Magnetism?

What is it with me and Liz Claiborne?
Though their fragrances are usually quite generic, they are always able through their concepts (even the most conventional ones like the Curve follow-ups) to excite me.

I can't post the picture WWD did of the male fragrance because it wasn't just a packshot given by Liz Claiborne, so there would be a copyright problem... but it is really an original and funny looking bottle.

You can check out the women's bottle here:
