What's the verdict on Opium d'orient homme YSL?

Just curious what purchasers of the new Opium d'orient are thinking of their recent score.
I'm keen to buy this via a travelling friend heading back home so any quick advice is greatly appreciated!

i only smelled it on paper, but i was positively surprised: less heavy on vanilla than Opium, spicy in a subtle way, i had a good feeling with that one.

I tried it out on my hand on the day of its release. It's fresher in the top notes - the main note I got being grapefruit - but I found that it vanished almost instantly.
