Hello everyone,
I am new here but so far really enjoying this site. I just love it.
However, I noticed that many of the fragrance genealogies are either incorrect or incomplete. This is based on information I got directly from the manufacturer.
Examine the examples below:
Basenotes Genealogy for Eau Sauvage (Christian Dior):
Top Notes: Lemon, Rosemary
Middle Notes: Petitgrain, Basil
Base Notes: Vetiver
Manufacturers Genealogy for Eau Sauvage (Christian Dior):
Tope Notes: Basil oil, Bergamot oil, Cumin, Fruit Notes, Lemon,
Middle Notes: Carnation, Coriander, Jasmin, Orris, Patchouli, Sandal,
Base Notes: Amber, Musk, Oakmoss,
If you know Eau Sauvage and have been wearing for years like I have, you will know it has no Vetiver (another favorite scent of mine).
What gives?
