Havana resemblance

Hi Guys,

Hope somebody can help me out here. I've been using Havana for almost 10 years now and just found out that it's been discontinued and I can't find it in my country. To buy it from internet is quite expensive. I am not really comfortable to other perfume. Can anybody recommend me other brand that smell similar to Havana? Thanks in advance.

I've heard Montana Parfum d'Homme is similar to Havana some even say it's better. I own this but haven't tried Havana. Unfortunately this one is discontinued too.

Vintage Tabarome is not exactly like Havana, but it's in the same ball park.

There's nothing even close to Havana. Montana Parfum d'Homme is in the same style, but lacks the bayrum completely. There's no problem buying it online. I did and bought the Havana Reserva, which is the concentrated version. It wasn't cheap, but now it's one of the best in my collection for sure.

Thanks for the reply guys. In the thread about tobacco scent, some mentioned D&G and the dreamer, is it worth a try?

Allright, just 'cause it's Ash Wednesday, I won't be selfish . . .

find ' LA fashion Â*district ' on the web
click on 'search district'
click on products
click on perfumes and colognes

here's one source I found there;

http://www.perfumeexpoonline.com

a couple of mo back I went down in person and scored Havana, they may still have it--along with some other favorites that are hard to find.

Actually, I'm more bummed out that they've discontinued Nicole Miller for Men, Minotaure and St Dupont Signature---what will go next?

(sigh)

Hi,

I think dr.creed was right, montana is very similar to Havana but it's not last as long as Havana. I've been using it for 2 weeks now. I've already order Vintage tabarome decant and looking for feuilles de tabac decant, can anybody point me to where can I get it? Thanks

I have Rocabar, but I never noticed tobacco in it.
I'm not the best at recognizing it, however.

I don't detect any tobacco in either one. Then again, I don't detect any tobacco in D&G ph either which is supposed to be one of *the* tobacco scents (and I smoke cigars occasionally). I just think the two smell similar. Rocabar is the only thing I have ever smelled that I would consider even close to Havana. I've never smelled Montana but some say it is similar.

Oh and by-the-way....woohoo! Â*;D Received my 100ml bottle of Havana in the mail last night. Only cost me $95 Â*>

I think Estee Lauder's Youth Dew EDP bears resemblance of some sort to Havana (less primarily the tobacco note).

I bought mine at Perfumeexpo but they only carry it in the gift set with the shower gel. There are many other shops down there that have it by itself.
