i got a sealed late 70s vintage diorella on ebay and i am simply in love with this gem. the current formulation is ok but nothing to get excited about - too citric, too generic. this, however, is...
BdP opens with a bang and ends in a whimper. After having read here and elsewhere that BdP is one of the best from Creed, I was hoping for a fragrance that was better than the sum of its parts....
At around 250 reviews and counting, it's hard to say much that's new about what had to have been one of the more astonishing introductions of it's time. Although the novelty may have worn off...
This review is for the EDT. I’m not going to break down the notes or rate it. Yes, this is Jean-Claude Ellena’s mainstream fragrance packed full of ISO E super; it smells good, but lacks subtly...
No 19 Poudre Chanel could be the shy, yet talented niece of Chanel 19. Auntie is wealthy (thanks to her own efforts) and has aged quite well; in fact, she takes a young lover from time to time,...
I just wore Geir today for the first time and I absolutely love it, but in the back of my mind it reminds me of something else, a different cologne perhaps.... Does anyone have an idea what that might be?
Though some will surely disagree, Allume Sport by Chanel smells a heck of a lot like Geir to my nose. I find Geir to be the superior product overall, in fact, it's grown on me a lot over time, but the similarity is still there.
Allure Sport is the one that many have compared Geir to. Even I will admit that the two are quite similar. BUT, and this is a big but, Allure Sport lacks the floral composition as well as the "wet woods" note that is present in Geir which makes a huge difference to my nose.
Dior Bois d'Argent reminds me of a darker, softer, and rounder version of Geir. I completely adore this one as well.
Allure Sport, yes. And although not the same, doesn`t Burberry`s Touch have something in common too..? I mean, it has that same sort of musky, airy, a bit floral vibe to it.

And I remembered one thing: You can call me a fool, but I think Boss Bottled have something in common with Geir. It has that similar sweet, sticky vanilla-musk scent, with gleaming quality.

To me, Touch is a lot softer and drier than Geir..Cannot see the comparison
