The Best Year for Green Irish Tweed?

I've been following the various threads discussing the issue of Creed's volatility and, in particular, the variance from year to year or even bottle to bottle. I've been a long-time GIT fan, and I have owned several bottles over the years.

Long story short, I bought a 4oz GIT with a 2004 stamp on it from NM. I have never been crazy about this bottle - it's "off" in some way. Since NM has a decent return policy, I can exchange it for a different bottle. I called and there is a 2002 2.5oz and a 2005 4oz. bottle available. Based on what I've been reading, I guess I should go for the 2002. What do you guys think? Anybody have either year?

Mine says 2003, but I fear the Juice has gone bad , I have not used my GiT in over 2 months, and I have tested twice on my arm since then and it just does not smell the same, after the top notes have faded, it goes to the basenotes, its like the middle notes are missing . I have had problems with my bottle where it leaks, I fear air is somehow geting in and maybe the reason its gone bad.
