EZRA FITCH Cologne

I doubt anyone has, but have any of you tried Abercrombie's newest offering "EZRA FITCH Cologne"? The (Abercrombie) site describes it: "Ezra Fitch Cologne defines the classic heritage of Abercrombie & Fitch fragrance. Exciting the senses with lavender, fresh bergamot, and sexy leather accords, Ezra Fitch deepens into a masculine musk and finishes with the strength of sandalwood." And with a $79.50 price tag, I couldnt help but wonder if it was any good. The Abercrombie line has been improving a bit in the last year with its Ezra Fitch line but Abercrombie is still Abercrombie so who knows, maybe it is just overpriced....

I smelled it when I got lost in a mall and ended up in one of the crosses between a Restoration Hardware and gay discotheque they call Abercrombie & Fitch. Â*It's a citrusy-ozonic fresh top on a generic "cologne" base of things they purport to be woods and leather that smell like no tree or cowhide I've ever smelled in my life. Â*Think of the bland, uninspired dross pumped out by American alleged designers like Ralph Lauren or Tommy Hilfiger, and you get the idea.

Your Spidey Sense must've been tingling, 'cause it's overpriced at half of what Abercrombie's charging. Â*But then, so is everything else they sell...

I actually really like this one...it is a "fresh leather" if that makes any sense....Anyway, I like it and have been wearing it about once a week for the past month.
