February 2006 recent purchases

Thread Starter
This weekend I picked up some Montana Parfum d'Homme (the red boxed one) and some Salvador Dali Pour Homme (the funk in a bottle with the lips cap).

To my surprise the Salvador Dali PH didn't seem to last very well yesterday, but when it was on, oh baby, it was the eighties all right.

I have been on an agarwood kick lately.

Yesterday i ordered a bottle of Aloeswood Attar from Oriscent and today i received my bottle of Oud Cuir D'Arabie by Montale.

Needless to say, My budget is shot for awhile!

As of right now, I'm on the wagon!!

Myaccolades, you will have to let me know what you think about YSL's Jazz because I am unable to try it anywhere around where I live but it sounds great so I am half tempted to just buy it blind.

And all of I have gotten lately is Kouro's Eau D'ete and Baldessarini Del Mar

Chris what do you think of the Montana? I got mine from that store at Tyson's. Where did you get it from? I really like it.

Will do! You might have to wait a couple weeks though - I just ordered it a couple days ago and postage from US to Canada is quite slow

Its funny you mention this because of late, I have been very curious about Montanna Green and Dali luxury green (if I remember correctly). I have been so curious that I was thinking of ordering blind but feel that I might make a mistake.

Been on the bandwagon! Not a single purchase over the few weeks, and no intended purchases this month either. I know it may strike other Bnoters as being a bit perverse, but I'm kinda proud of my own sense of self-restraint!

SAME HERE. But I don't have a job either (college student) and it doesn't feel right to me buying luxuries with parents' money while the parents themselves don't. My parents would of course never be upset if I did spend their money (not tooooo much at least) and they probably wouldn't like it if they knew I thought this way too.

I have made two blind purchases this month:

Voleur de Roses (10ml decant)
Ungaro III (50ml bottle)

From what I have read, it should be a safe bet (I am still waiting for them). And if it is not, I assume I can easily trade them away later.

I purchased Dior Homme recently and I'm waiting on Laguana.

Haven't bought anything lately...still waiting and gritting my teeth for the Gaultier2 US launch.

Last I heard, it will probably be launched here in the States next month, but I'm as doubtful as ever, as BPI originally promised a US release by Valentine's Day. What's taking them so frickin' long, as it's already in Canada?
So far this month (shipped)

Boss Bottled (#6)
Cool Water Mini
Stetson Black
Zirh

Ive got a little money left, might pick up some Burberry London

I actually haven't bought from scentiments before but I do hear good things about them.

If you want to try out a Canadian company, here's one with lots of niche stuff - though prices are highly inflated
