What associations do you make between fragrances and music? For example, what fragrances might you associate with different musical genres: techno/electronic, disco, reggae, folk, psychedelia, prog-rock, heavy metal, grunge---you name it! (No jokes about Jazz, please.)

I think Joop! Homme could go with electronic music. And Cool Water is like... "adult alternative"... like the Goo Goo Dolls or Collective Soul.

Last weekend I saw an 80's tribute band, so I wore Azzaro PH. Ahh, the memories...

Other associations I have:

~ Tabaróme 1875 - Cuban Jazz (wore this when I saw Arturo Sandoval)
~ Third Man - Jazz
~ Passage D'enfer - Church music
~ Odeur 53 - Indie music
~ Héritage - Classical
~ Timbuktu - International
~ L'Anarchiste - Rock

Towards the end of the War (which was during the big band era), Old Spice was associated with the American GI's!

Tea for Two is like an old skool R&B style to it.

Armani Mania is Techo/Rave music... not much more to say about that one...

Anything really musky would be a good Jazz type smell. It just reminds me of the times and back then musk was popular anyway. It just goes...
