This was my signature scent from 1999-2002. It usually garnered a few compliments as well.

Then I discovered Basenotes and well............you know the story.

The other day I wore it for the first time in years. Still pretty darn nice. Its definitely a spicy oriental.

Any thoughts?

On my skin, there is an opening sour note in there that I can't quite figure out. It takes awhile for this note to go away, and after it does, there is something about the fragrance that fascinates me. But also something that feels tired and dated. So I'm not sure what to make of it.

Classic! Some spice in this scent reminds me of Opium for women and Coco by Chanel too.

There's this Lady that was crazy about it when I use to wear it.................. .

Haven't smelled it, but I remember an episode from American Psycho where Patrick Bateman wears it, and a woman comments that he smells soo good...

Another brilliant frag !! it only took two spritzes from a sample last week & I ordered a bottle immediately (( 8 oz !! ))
I love these ones no need to get acquainted , it was love at first sniff .

I'm out right now, but wear it with great frequency when I do have a bottle around.
It's easily one of my favorite cheapies of all time.

I don't hate too many fragrances, but this was one of the worst I have ever tried, I could not wait to scrub it off.

Are some of you trying to sneak politics in here, perhaps because the Politics and Religion forum was closed?

"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union..."

I don't need some old (now deceased) foreign lady telling me what it means to be a U.S. citizen !

Well, that's it then. I wasn't trying to be funny this time. LOL. I just disliked reading what I feel is an anti-U.S. (and anti-democracy) sentiment on a frag newsgroup, but I won't elaborate unless the Politics and Religion forum is reopened.

Love it.

Can't understand the negative reviews here.

tvlampboy might not remember, but he sent a pretty full bottle along as a freebie a few years ago when I bought something from him.

It is dated, it is "classic" smelling... on me it sort of reminds me of Rive Gauche Pour Homme on volume 11. I rather like it and it is definitely a statement sort of scent when I wear it.

I think you're referring to Lightningrod's signature.

Also this thread and Lightningrod's post are from 2006.
