Body Kouros Score - $29 at The Bay

All this talk about picking up Rive for $20 at Shoppers, The Bay has Body Kouros for $29 I Quickly snapped one up. I had a bottle in '99/2000, swore one bottle was enough in a lifetime, but now I'm back.. Nice scent - lasts for EVER!

I love Body Kouros. I think it is Annick Menardos best creation. This fragrance will be always in my Top 10. And Ric you`re right; It does last forever.

I just checked the notes on the BN database and it says there's mace in their. That isn't the same stuff police spray at people is it?

Two different substances.

The mace referenced in the BN database is a spice derived from nutmeg. Specifically, it comes from the seed covering. The mace used for self-defense is usually made from capsicum (hot pepper).

Am I crazy or does Body Kouros smell almost exactly like Burberry Touch (Him)?? Does anybody else think this?

I went to my local branch of The Bay just now, and yes, Body Kouros is being sold for C$29.99. I'm gonna test out my decant some more tonight, and maybe pick up a bottle on Tuesday.

Its a nice scent. I bought a bottle of it retail a year back but have only used about half and don't plan on using anymore. I call it Eau de Cottoncandy. It is a little too sweet for me and gets to me after awhile. Still a nice frag though.

Oops, I should have said that it's a 3.4oz bottle if I remember correctly. Not quite as big as our awesome C$19.99 4.2oz Rive Gauche score from Shoppers Drug Mart, but still quite fair.

Too bad I don't like Body Kouros as much as Rive Gauche right now. But that may change this weekend. I can't really describe the fragrance but I'm more of a Rive Gauche, Opium EDP, M7, and M7 Fresh kind of guy. I'll have to give both Kouros and Body Kouros more tests in the coming days and weeks.

Well, they are both sweet Orientals. But IMO, they don`t share that much similarities.

Au Masculin is all about anis, liqorice and musk, when BK is loaded with caramel and benzoin (with musk).

30$ is good deal for 3.4oz but I don't know. Nobody seems as excited about it. I suppose I'll go give it a test tomorrow and see what I think.

I really really like it (after buying the first bottle for $15 I went back and bought a second one, heh), but on me it's not sweet and not very long lasting. I get 3, maybe 4 (at best) hours out of it and it smells kinda smokey-musky, quite subtle. I actually like it that way.
