Newbie just saying hi

Hi all. Been trolling here for a few months and decided to sign on tonight. Great site. Lots of info and tips. Thanks! I'm a big fan of L'occitane, HM, Cole and Chanel but there are tons of scents on here I've never tried and I think I'll call in sick tomorrow and buy a bag of coffee beans and hang out at Sephora with my BaseNotes printout and see how long til they throw me out.
Feel free to say hi if your so inclined.

Welcome! Enjoy yourself.
Anyone who like Antaeus is alright in my book.

That's a good start on your collection!!

Just watch it grow!!!!!!!!

Next time at Sephora's try Jaipur Boucheron Eau de Parfum(EDP) and if there's a Nordy's near by try Geir Ness. If you like Hanae Mori, you might love Geir.
Welcome to Bnotes and be sure when you're watching your collection grow to watch your bank account shrink. I still haven;t figured out what the connection is between the two :

Cool. Thanks for the recommendations!
I'm pretty sure one of my kidneys could fund my crackish addiction to scents. I'm putting it on Ebay as we type.

Welcome dude.

Welcome.

You have a good start already--looks like you know what you're doing.

It's not as bad as they say--one kidney ought to do it.

Welcome aboard!

Re: Antaeus, I don't think I have seen it in department stores over the past year in the US, but I haven't been actively looking.

welcome.

Sephora is a good place to test out all the fragrances because nobody there will hassle you to buy something. Have fun.

Welcome to Basenotes

It is scarce in the USA but it still can be found online, here is one place I have found that still has it:

Another newbie saying hi here! I've been lurking for about three months now, and this place is great. I can already see what everybody is talking about as far as the addictive nature of this hobby. Since I've been checking out BN, my fragrance collection has doubled from 3 to 6 bottles, with the new acquistions being John Varvatos, Gucci Envy, and Nicole Miller for Men (all great by the way). I also just got some samples from luckyscent including Frank Los Angeles (1 and 2), CDG Sequoia, and Dzing!
Anyway, I just wanted to thank everyone for all the great opinions and information posted here. Keep it coming!
