Amouage Dia = Boucheron Jaipur Homme

Finally yesterday arrived my Amouage samples via mail, so today I gave a try to Dia, sprizing it on my nech and wrists... And immediately... Sniff sniff... I said to myself: "I've already smelled this scent"... but indeed I never tryed Dia before!!!
Thinking of it, suddenly I got the idea... Jaipur!!!
To me Dia remembered of a bit less chipré-powdery version of Jaipur homme, sort of hesperidic-fruity-chipré semi-oriental...
Anyone got the same impression? What's your thoughts about it? Am I wrong?

I own both and I have to agree.

When I first got Jaipur I noticed the similarities.

Jauipur dries down with more vanilla and is a little warmer.

Dia is more complex and formal.

I can see the correlation between the two with its spicy elements and amber, but Dia is much more floral complemented by incense to my nose. I prefer Dia to Jaipur, but both are remarkably good scents to me.

I agree Chuck.Jaipur smells like Lolita.I don't think it is in a class with Dia.Roland.

I'm sure I don't think they're alike because I love and wear Dia for special occasions ... but after buying BJH, it went straight to my swaplist.

My only regret is that Dia is not as long lasting as you would expect from a $215 frag.

I've smelled both and let me say nothing has ever compared to Jaipur EDP. Â*This is one of my signature scents. Â*The only thing that has ever even came close to it was JHL. Â*Amouage Dia is somewhat similar, but lacks the sexiness and the POW! factor. Â*I also don't smell any orange or cinnamon in Dia. Â*Dia has more woodsy and musk notes in it. Â*Not bad but definitely not Jaipur. Â*IMHO of course

The similarity you draw comes from that powder note. However, Dia is a maculine floral while jaipur is a different scent.
