Helmut Lang Cuiron...buy it?

OK...tomorrow is my birthday. I want to buy myself something (since I am living in a foreign country with no relatives around to lavish gifts on me). I found a large bottle online of Cuiron and was wondering whether or not it was worth the risk. The 3.4 oz was about $39. I know it's been discontinued and that is another reason to go for it....but will I like it? Hmmmm.

Cuiron?
M7?
Gucci Pour Homme?

It's rather hard to judge from your wardrobe-I don't see an obvious pattern there. Â*But based on the people in Basenotes, Â*there's a good chance you would like Cuiron because many, like me, love it and not many dislike it. Â*

Looking at Cuiron's pyramid, it might seem that it's primarily leather, but it is more than that; Â*it is well balanced and varied in its presentation. Â*I love it, but I can't judge for you.

M7 and Gucci PH are more arguable.

Oh, and by the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I'd jump on it!

It's a very masculine leather scent. I'm wearing it today.

I'm sure you'd have no problem trading it if you don't like it.

$39 for a 3.4 oz is a very good deal. If you like leather scents, then I say go for it. After all, our good friend rjrober22 said he'll buy it off you if you don't like it. What's there to lose?

This is a nice scent but weak, to me. Like the original Helmut Lang Man, it is a EDC and my experience was having to reapply several times during the day to smell it. I ended up trading it for that reason.

Wow, one spritz has been enough on me for others to ask if I've been in the room after I've left (when this was my signature, I used it exclusively for maybe a year).

Oh it's discontinued! No wonder all sales asistants were puzzled the other day. I want to test drive it before getting a bottle. How does it compare to Chanel Cuir de Russie, which I adore?
