I just noticed: I have two longtime male friends/relatives with an emergency problem in their fragrance collection, and I want to resolve it this Christmas. Here's the two problem children that need better smellies for better living:
Exhibit A is a doctor in Lafayette, IN with a laid-back conservative look and feel. He currently swears by Victoria Secret's Very Sexy for Him, Kenneth Cole Black, and Lauder Pleasures for Men, though he's worn Acqua di Gio in the past. The funny thing: He shops at Saks and Neiman Marcus for clothes sometimes, but probably has never perused their men's fragrance counter, while his wife loves visiting the women's counter. Oddly enough, his wife has far better tastes in fragrances: she likes Thierry Mugler Innocent, Laura Biagotti's (now-discontinued) Venezia, and Samsara by Guerlain (among others). What scent would fit him?
Exhibit B is a salesman in Gallatin, TN (near Nashville) with a hard-sell atttude and a lot of humor. He could probably sell ice cubes to Eskimos, however, he can't fall for anything besides Curve, Davidoff Cool Water, or Acqua di Gio (again) when it comes to fragrances. His wife is a die-hard Angel devotee, but he does NOT like Angel Men. What scent would be an easy sell for him?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, however, they can't be too expensive (Creed might be fine, but Amouage or Clive Christian is NOT.) Keep in mind that these purchases WILL be blind buys for these two people as Xmas presents.
