Which versions of Gucci Pour Homme are these?

Here are two auctions I found for Gucci Pour Homme, but they look different. When did they change the bottle, or which version is the correct one?

Thanks. ;D

I believe the first one is the original GPH and is now discontinued.
The second one is the newer one.

Both are correct

Oh EXCELLENT!! ;D ;D ;D Has anyone owned both and compared the two? Same formulation or a "close enough" reproduction of the original?

I haven't smelled either of the two... but I'll try to find one or the other tomorrow when I hit the shops. ;D

The original smells nothing like the new Gucci Pour Homme. I recall the original being a real 80's chypre and very close to Aramis and Franceso Smalto.

I have both in front of me right now. Scentimus' take is spot on: these two are completely different animals. The original Pour Homme reeks of the eighties and the newer version is redolent of pencil shavings and smoke.

I love them both.

I read the "pencil shavings" comments on the Directory... I thought that description was hilarious. ;D ;D

Man, I doubt the stores will stock the old one then since it's discontinued like Nobile. Time to request yet another decant/sample then in the appropriate forum, I guess. ;D ;D ;D

I've never actually smelled pencil shavings... I think I'd be afraid to get all that graphite powder in my nasal passages. [smiley=lolk.gif]

I'll still go try and find Gucci Pour Homme tomorrow. ;D

I believe Dillard's carries both versions. At least, the one here in Texas does.
