Thanks. No one tried though?. Is it sweet, fresh? oriental or woody, spicy?

I tried it a couple of weeks ago and quite liked it.

Unfortunately I can't really remember why or what it smelled like. I think it was kind of woody/spicy but that's just a guess. My recolection is that it would be good for cooler weather (hence the "Corduroy", I guess that would be a little obvious :.

Smells great, but wasn't notable enough to warrant a purchase.

My tester just arrived. I spritzed a bit on the back of my left hand about 60 minutes ago

Initial impression: Citrusy...Grapefruit? Lightly spicey... cinnamon? And there is something else...smooth and sweet, could be a watered down vanilla.

Thirty minutes later: Among the citrus, resinous woods, more sweet pastry-type spice. Just a hair away from a real gourmand. It's like... it's like... a paler H.M. (Hanae Mori).

Now: Citrus is gone. Pastry is gone. Woods and incense rise to the top. At its base, I sniff faint echos of RL's Monogram or is it Jil Sander Background (my SOTD which may be clouding my nose at the moment...)

So far: Corduroy is a pleasant scent; a blast of grapefruit that swirls into sweet, wet woods and light spices. I agree that this is probably best considered a cold(er) weather scent. Opinion subject to change. Let's see how it goes a few hours hence.

Griff

Several hous later...

Eh.

In the final accounting, Corduroy is just... ok but it isn't going to win any awards. If it had been a more audacious blend with maybe a blast of carnation or a stronger cedar and incense hit or even more extreme grapefruit (What do I know from mixing a scent?) it could have been a contender.

Go buy some Kenzo Jungle and enjoy yourself.
