Looking for a less pungent Drakkar Noir scent?

I am looking for a less pungent Drakkar Noir scent? something thats not as in your face... a lil more subtle.
Is there anything out there like this?

(The thing about Drakkar Noir is that even if you put a little on you can smell it 20 feet away.)

I recall Laroche creating a "light" version of the scent once. New West perhaps?

Try Gucci Nobile, if you can find it. It has recently been discontinued.

I tried it based upon some comments here on basenotes. I find that on me it is lighter than Drakkar Noir and long lasting (6-8 hours), something that I'm comfortable wearing to the office that provides a welcome change of pace from fresh scents.

If you can find it try Duc De Vervin by Houbigant. I would call it Drakkars grandfather. Much softer the Drakkar but with a regal ellegance about it.

I'd agree with the Gucci Nobile suggestion, though I don't think that Drakkar Noir is really all that pungent.

The other scent that I find very similar to Drakkar is Yardley's English Blazer, and it's a lot cheaper. But it's only a little less strong.

Caesars Man is a smooter Drakkar Noir, and it's rather inexpensive.
I'd also second the suggestion forÂ*Duc De Vervin. It is very similar, but I find it to be just as strong.

I like Drakkar Noir too and bought some about five years ago around the Christmas Holiday. I guess I was feeling nostalgic and the gift set of edt, balm, soap, and deoderant for around $55.00 (US) helped the purchase. When I wear it I use one to two sprays max. and people only seem to notice it if they are real close. Never fails to get a compliment either. I also have Xeryus which is similar to Drakkar Noir so that would be a good one to try. With this I too one to two sprays max seems to be perfect. In fact I hadnt worn Xeryus in awhile so decided to spritz some on yesterday. I passed a lady and she complimented that I smelled nice.
