Looking for a new fall scent/Glad to be back

Man, it's been almost a month, possibly a little more since I've posted here or even really had a chance to look at the board. I went through what can be described as hell on earth for any basenoter: I temporarily lost my sense of smell. Around labor day I had a case of walking pneumonia which I ignored, figuring my own immune system cold handle it. I was more worried about my classes than my body and made a very bad choice. To make a long story short it progressed to my sinuses, and was very hard to knock out for some reason. I lost a good portion of my sense of smell to the point where I no longer even had the desire to spray on my once cherished fragrances since I couldn't even smell them. Ugh.

However, I'm returning to normal and want to find a something new and good for the fall. A few specifications:
1: It has to be designer, not niche. I've come to the realization that my budget can't support any more niche buys for a while, so I'm trying to limit myself to something that I can find online for cheap.
2: I'm looking for a mix of spices and woods, maybe with some tobacco thrown in. I currently have Trussardi Uomo, Gucci Pour Homme, Hermes Bel Ami, Bois Du Portugal, and CdG Man 2 in my collection, while I love them all for some reason they're just not 'it', I'm looking for something else. Sorry for the poor explanation, but as anyone who has looked for a scent they have not yet encountered can attest, sometimes the guiding thoughts are nebolous at best!
3: Alternatively, a spicy liquor type scent would be most welcome too. I have L'Dandy by Dorsay and love it. It is magnificent, warm, inviting, excellent duration on me and I highly recomend it to anyone.

Any help or thoughts would be much obliged!

I actually have all three of those, I wouldn't really consider the Third Man a 'fall' scent though...

Glad to have you back!

I vote for both Burberry Brit & Burberry London

I have M7 and I love it, I have Burberry London and I'm thinking of swapping it because it doesn't smell 'right' on me. I had Brit and traded it away, just didn't seem unique to me.

Yep. This got recommended to me recently and I went out and tracked down a bottle for $21.00.
No matter the price, this stuff is really smooth. Tobacco and spices in all the right ways. A perfect treat for winter.
Thanks to whomever recommended it to me, by the way. I think it's been discontinued now (?)
