Bonjour a tous.I have some Frankincense and myrhh essential oil that really smells good.It is remarkable to me how much better it smells as a combo than just frankincense or myrrh individually. What are some good colognes with a strong frankinscence and myrrh dominant tone?I would imagine they are legion.I guess especially in the drydown,i.e.,basenotes, also which is what I look for most. Thanks Roland.

Try L'Artisan's Passage d'Enfer. The frankincense is most vivid.

I second the C&S - I love the stuff.

I'd have to go with the PdE as well...
The C&S just didn't sit well with me....however, as you can tell it is a quality scent that you may enjoy so I'd give both a try
by swapping or buying decants.

Good luck.

Frankincense & Myrrh is on my "want to test" list for a long time. It was just yesterday I ordered some samples and decants including F & M. I'm pretty sure it won't conquer my beloved No. 88, but I'm curious anyway.

Passage d'Enfer is awesome and I found it lasts way longer on my clothes than on skin.

I agree. PdE is wonderful!

If you want something to smell like a mix of frankincense and myrrh essential oils, Czech & Speake's F&M will really dissapoint you. It's a nice scent, but it smells more herbal that incensey. Passage d'Enfer is a light, lovely incense fragrance with a lily note. Beautiful, but fleeting.

Try Incense by Norma Kamali.
It change my understanding of perfumes completely!

Emporio Armani Night has a very dominant myrrh base note. You MUST try it!

Thanks tons guys.I have PdE on the way from Aedes
Several people have likened it to a Catholic church in the reviews.I have only been in a Catholic church once and I can't remember any incense so hopefully this will spark my imagination. If it works I could be a convert.Roland.

L'Artisan Timbuktu would be a good choice too blended well with the vetiver note.

Hi! I can smell a lot of myrrh in ROUGE by Hèrmes! It is very suitable for a men to wear!

You might additionally check out dshperfumes.com to see if there is something over there that might work for you. I love PdE but can't smell the stuff after ten minutes. It's cold smoke and lilies before that, and then it's only very frustrating.

From my experience this is only the website where you can find the best quality of frankincense, because it comes directly from the Sultanate of Oman country, the land of frankincense: www.omangift.com

Etro- Shaal Nur is a fantastic oriental blend of spices you might like.

5 year old post I'll play:

Profumum Olibanum or Santalum

If your looking for a Catholic church try Avignon.

You might want to try Messe de Minuit by Etro. I don't like straightforward incense, but this is "freshened up" just a bit, and makes it enjoyable to me.
