Draw an upward sloping line on a piece of graph paper.
At the top of the line insert Lempicka.
At the bottom insert Very Mat Male.
Go to the halfway point of the line, and move a little further up towards Lempicka, and mark a cross there with a black pen.

I think I've just solved Armani's Black Code.

Renato, I think you get the best post of the year award. I'm going to see if I can use the algebra formula to solve some scent problems myself.

Thanks Chris, though beware, it can get frustrating.
At the moment I have Davidoff's Silver Shadow Pure (I think it was called that, it's stronger than the EDT) on my wrist. And I have L'Homme Essentiel at the bottom of the graph, but can't figure out which one goes at the top end.

You fail to mention if it is a positive of negative slope Â*;D


The eqn for a slope is: Â*m = y2-y1 / x2-x1

It would be fun to see what fragrance you would use for these generic variables! Â*;D

It depends on what one labels the two axis. If one labels the Y axis degree of Orientalness or amount of Oriental ingredients, and the X axis as amount of aniseed or liquorice wood, then the line would have a positive slope.

P.S. I don't think the answer would be m7, probably m1 (like in money supply)
