This is my new autumn fragrance - absolutely ravishing!

Notes include: Citrus, Basil, Rose, Oakmoss, Honeyed Woods, Leather, Patchouli.

Feminine? No way. Overwhelming? Relaxes on the skin after 10 minutes. Expensive?

Great idea! Just ordered it from E-bay!

Wow, at that price, it's a steal!!!

Thanks for posting on this one, especially the notes! I wore it a few weeks ago, and I agree--it is quite under-rated. I find it a nice buttery leather-chypre, moderately rich. I could have sworn I smelled some white flowers there too...

white flowers, huh? I don't get that...but the rose does come through on my skin for a few minutes during the opening and then again in the drydown. It's great isn't it? Definitely a scent for winter's night.

Thanks for the tip Marlen. It is too bad my sister wore this for years!
I love leather scents but I guess I won't be going there. ;D

I wore this scent a lot in the late 90's. Its wonderful for the cool fall season nights. Makes a very unisex scent, the leather is blended well with the patchouli.

I just tested La Nuit earlier this month. I love most leather scents and this one was no exception. I don't understand Luca's "Tabu on horse" reference at all. More floral than Cuir Mauresque, more fruity (thanks to the luscious plum note) than Cuir de Russie, more girly than Bandit. If you like leathers, you should give La Nuit a try. I wouldn't call it "toe-curling vulgar" but it is pretty darn sexy!
