Don't know about the Rolls...doesn't seem that classy to me...but the 70 year old part fits.

From the directory - others there do not sound encouraging to me but will try anyway:

"This scent, although over 20 years old, has a timeless quality, warm and familiar. I recommend the eau de toilette concentree for a longer lasting (but not overpowering) scent."

p.s.: [smiley=cry.gif] missing your lively picture DV!

Don't know about the R R or the 70 year old business....This I know as far as I'm concerned...This is a Fall/ Winter scent and it is not for the faint of heart.

IMHO it is a classy fragrance, it should be applied sparingly for maximum enjoyment, it is a boardroom scent, the CEO's power fragrance, all in all the whiff of money!

[blue]I think *Santos de Cartier* (original 1981 formulation) is a benchmark scent. Beautifully put together with an uncompromising use of quality ingredients and an unapologetic potency.

As I have said before, the reformulated version of this great fragrance is a sad shadow of its former self.

I used to wear *Santos de Cartier* in the early eighties when I was in my early twenties and age was never an issue for me or for the countless young, middle aged, and old people from whom it elicited generous, enthusiastic praise.

Well I'm less that half of 70 and I think Santos is about as good as it gets. Â*And I don't have a Rolls Royce, but it smells just fine on me when I'm driving my truck!
So there.
