Well, I've ranted on and on about Hanae Mori HM EdT and how lousy the stuff was.
But, today, I tried on Hanae Mori EdP over at Von Maur. And it is a different and-dare I say-"better" animal.
Whereas the EdT was basically a cloying floral mess on my skin, the EdP evolves better. The EdP's topnotes were a nice fresh blast. As for the drydown, yes, the floral notes are still there, but greener, and softened by woods and oakmoss to a much more tolerable point.
Also, I (finally) tried on Burberry Brit. This is probably one of the better recent designer releases and it's different enough from everything else in my collection that I can justify possibly buying a bottle. As many Basenoters have mentioned before, the sillage is wonderful.
Oh, and BTW, I also saw Kenneth Cole Signature...nice bottle, but lousy juice.
