Clive Christian Frangrances

The Clive Christian fragrances No.1, 1872 and X has anyone been lucky (or rich) enough to own or sample these...and if you have do you feel Â*they justify the outrageous price tag?

They're generally sold next to Creed, and for the price tag I think Creed is much more justifiable.

Clive Christian is almost purely a status symbol, IMHO, where Creed is appreciated both by those who want to flaunt money and those who truly appreciate fragrance.

I have to say the packaging of the Clive Christian fragrances though looks exquisite, just wondered whether the scents themselves are as great. By the sounds of it not...

A few months back while sampling Creed Vintage Tabarome in Bergdorf Goodman, there was a Clive Christian table. I sampled about four of the fragrances and I didn't find them anything special, especially to justify the prices. Quite a difference from my impression of the Tabarome.

1872 is VERY NICE.
It is in my top 5.

I like no 1 very much

I have owned 1872 in the past and have sampled them all. Upon immediate impression, I did not find them very special to justify the price. However, I will be retesting them in one week.
