Perfect summer orange blossom - COLOGNE SOLOGNE

With a great price, good lasting power, and a wonderfully fresh and light aroma, Nicolai's Cologne Sologne is my choice for best ornage blossom cologne, and best "cologne" for summer.

The scent opens with a burst of round, bright neroli notes with a tinge of lemon. As the scent settles, and there is little development here, the sandalwood and grapefruit notes are revealed and the entire scent blends into one full-bodied note of fresh neroli with sparkles of citrus and a warm trail of sandalwood. This is almost as good as my other love, Floris's Original Gentleman's Cologne. Whereas Floris is a bit more complex, CS is simpler and fresher.

Beautyhabit.com writes:

One of the most expensive Eau de Cologne formulas - made with real neroli oil! A refreshing cologne for the entire body. Composed of Grapefruit, Lemon Verbena, Sicilian Bergamot, and precious Neroli and Sandalwood! One of the best classic colognes - ever created! For Men and Women.

Thanks for the review, Marlen. I was thinking of sampling this from Beauty Habit. Sounds perfect for this time of year in the northern hemisphere.

I agree!!! Cologne Sologne is just amazing to me. I don't necessarily always consider it in the EdC realm because it's just so good and more complex than most EdC's and it lasts much better.
It's addicting.
