Acqua di Parma - Colonia Assoluta *****/****

Saw a full 1.7 oz bottle of Tea for Two go for $21.60 on ebay yesterday.
I don't love Tea for Two, but these prices are insane.
On the other hand I can't buy ALL these cheap bottles ..... [smiley=cry.gif]

Testing Dior Addict and Moschino Couture! and I love them both! Addict has very deep, dark florals notes (I can detect jasmine) under the fresher greeness and distinctive sandalwood base nicely rounded by vanilla - kinda reminds me of Egoiste and Boss Soul. Moschino Couture is a crisp, bubbling floral scent with wonderful cedar-vanilla finish. Somehow makes me think of champagne! They are both on my wishlist now!

No "real" fragrance for me today, just "Huile Delicieuse", a nice body oil by Payot. Smells a bit like lavender.

It's so hot and humid that the first application
after my shower just evaporated, I had to bathe in it
and now it is faintly detectable !

Azzaro Visit. I'm discovering that just because the weather is hot and humid, I don't have to go "clean" with my fragrance.

My SOTD is Vettiveru from a Comme des Garçons test vial, the 6th in my series of Liquid Art's vetiver sampler set. Vettiveru is a very nice vetiver scent. It is quite straightforward, with a clean, soft vetiver note throughout. Now five hours later it is still noticeable, and the base remains predominantly vetiver with perhaps some cypress or cedar and incense. I'm going to get a decant of this so I can see how it is when sprayed. So far, with 6 samples down out of 29, this one is tied with Carlo Corinto for top honors.

SOTE Azzaro p. H. A little big for the hot weather but I was getting tired of trying to lighten it up.
