Still pondering between two scents. I would love to wear Douce Amere, but I only have a sample of it. So is this THE day or should I wait? Damn, it's such a lovely scent, easily my favorite Lutens! Oh my, I think me shall save this treasure for some more special day and instead put CDG Spicy Cocoa today.

Magnificent Monday to you all [smiley=wink.gif]

CDG series 1: TEA. Top notes seems to smell more of old furniture in this very hot morning.

I'll be wearing a couple spritzes of Eddie Bauer Pure. I have a job interview in the morning & can't afford to wear anything too heavy

My SOTD is Caswell Massey's Vetiver Cologne, my fifth sample from Liquid Art's vetiver sampler collection. And is this ever a stinker! [smiley=thumbdown.gif] It is somewhat sweet, with a character like maple syrup, the vetiver barely perceptible. After two hours it is absolutely gone...nothing. I usually encourage anyone to try just about everything...this cologne is not one of them.

Perry Eliis 360 White

(Just bought this yesterday--$16 for 100ml. Great cheap alternative to JPG Le Male)

Fragonard's Santal.

Goo-ey, ash-y, simple, and close to the skin sandalwood. Not dry, not sweet, but sorta sticky in a chewing gum kind of texture way.

Well, the brief respite from the heat and humidity lasted about as long as it takes to spell respite - Soooo, it's back to the light stuff:

Same for me today.

Now I'm sampling D'Orsay's Tilleul. To this point I've never found a scent that I could not say something favorable about. I think that's changed...

WOW! four people for Creed OV today

I haven't put anything on yet. I haven't worn a scent since Friday evening. I'm in the middle of a move in, so my collection is somewhere else.

I'm with Gotham City today. YSL pour homme (red cap!) is one of the few frags I can stand on a hot (93 F = 34 C) sticky day like this. It lasts pretty well, too.
