Just received my treat of Annick Goutal in mail today. Here is what I think of them:
Eau du Sud Â*= Â*It's almost exactly like Dior's Eau Sauvage. The difference is so minute that it's hard to tell the difference.
Eau de Monsieur = Has a great resemblance to its other wonderful sibling Eau d'Hadrien during its initial development. However, the dry down phase is what diffrentiates the two from each other. Whereas Eau d'Hadrien stays fresh and very sharp throughout its development, Eau de Monsieur changes to a warmer citrus, sandalwood notes. I like it!
Duel -- Now I know why everyone thinks of this as a tea scent. Longevity is a problem though. I sprayed my arm a total of six times, and after about 10 minutes, it's barely detectable on me -- stays very close to the skin.
