Damn, I wanted to try Virgilio but the only store here that stocks Diptyque don't have that one. They do carry L'Autre for some strange reason though. I got L'ombre dans L'Eau instead.

Today I'm wearing Messe de Minuit.

The day is just finishing for me. It started with a true friend CK One and finished with the duskier Jako ( Lagerfeld )

By the way, I was reading that Jako was inspired by the Jako villa on the banks of the Elbe river in Czeck Republic. I tried to find a picture but could not. Anyone know any more info? just curious.

I almost joined you guys wearing Messe de Minuit today. What a summer coincidence that would have been.

Instead it is Creed's Cypres-Musc.

YSL pH HC (black cap). Just got this higher strength version. Different from red cap, but similar enough that I still like it just fine. Now, to see if it really does persist a bit better.

Mark, Villa Jako is in Hamburg-Blankenese, Germany. Unfortunately, Karl Lagerfeld's book 'Jako' - Steidl Verlag, http://www.steidl.de - is out of print. But here's a picture:

Continuing my journey through Liquid Art's Vetiver Collection 1. First was Vetiver from Annick Goutal; a simple and weak vetiver, nothing special. My SOTD is Pure Vetiver from Azzaro. Sadly, this too is nothing special and also very light. I applied a full 1/2 of my full sample vial and it is scarcely noticeable four hours later. This vetiver has a slightly fruity, though chemical accord. Both this and the Goutal version absolutely pale in comparison to my still favorite, Guerlain Vetiver.
