This is going to be the hottest day of the year so far. A perfect day to wear verbena. So I'm layering the stuff: Caswell-Massey Verbena in shower gel, splash, and scented talcum powder. Holy cow the splash stings like crazy. My whole upper body stung with pain after a splash and rub-on. Yikes. I hope the talc keeps me dry around the neck and shoulders. I also hope the fine and simple scent lasts and lasts.

I liked Verbena when I tried it in the sample pack CM used to offer. The lack of an atomizer for Verbena and some of the other scents dissuaded me from getting it (though I guess I could always decant them). Still, if it goes on sale like some of the others I may have to break down and get it. Let us know how the scent holds up in the heat.

Crown Marquis for me today.

Cheers,
Bob
