Hitting 90degrees F here today. A liberal application of Givenchy's PI was in order.

Justt kidding!!!!!!!!!

Lancome's Belafre from a sample thanks to a generous Basenoter!

It will hit 90 Fahrenheit here today too. Just for the freak out value I applied Diptyque's weird citrus candy number, Oyedo.

I usually save Oyedo for my party scent. I'm wearing it in today's heat to see how long it lasts.

It's humid too, eh Chris?

Have you started seeing fireflies in your area?

I just stay indoors to deal with the MISERABLE heat; 90 here feels like 100 million in normal west coast temp.

My SOTD is Eau Parfumée au Thé Blanc from bulgari. A light, refreshing, but longlasting EDT. A very nice companion to the similar Thé Vert fragrance. I'm anxious to get down to the basenotes of this one.

Top Notes
Artemisia Leaves

Middle Notes
White Tea, Ablemosk, White Pepper

Base Notes
Ambergris, Musk

Bois Noir (the precursor to Egoiste). Absolutely extraordinary. Louder than Egoiste with more sandlewood and corriander. Like Egoiste, it last you long time.

I rarely wear this but every so often I need a fix. longevity is excellent. if you like a crisp, sharp, spicy fragrance, try it.

Baladin (de Nicolai). It holds on quite well in heat (e.g., at 90 F, or 32 C), but I drop the dose to just two spritzes so the leather does not get to be too much.

Czech and Speake No 88 for me. Too much rose water on the top for my liking, the drydown is nice though.

By Dolce & Gabbana.

Possibly my favourite ever. V similar to Jaipur, but a little lighter, with a nice citrus counterpoint to the vanilla.
