It's a bit of a rainy day here so I tried A*Men which I purchased recently. Don't think I'm going to keep it, too sweet for me. Btw, finally got the Carven Homme yesterday, so I'm gonna wash off the A*Men, and try that one instead. Tried some on my pulse yesterday, and I really liked it. Can't remember who recommended me this delicious scent (it was on the old EZBoard), think it was Yvan or Milamber, but I'd like to thank them for that. Carven Homme seems like a keeper. Great lasting power too! [smiley=dankk2.gif]

Zizanie -another debut.

My fellow parishioners at the Traditional Latin High Mass I go to each Sunday at a Catholic Church in mid-town know that I am a hugh Sinatra fan and thus it's going to be enjoyable to tell them I am wearing what was one of his favorite scents!

Hot day here in Singapore. Hotter than usual that is...

Yup, really hot day in Singapore. Yerbamate was called for.

Glad to see Cronos finally received the Carven Homme. I reviewed it, Yvan probably recommended it to you, as did a few others in my now defunct Orientals thread.

I'm in love again.

If GIT was as famous as let's say Acier Aluminium, it would be my No. 1

Trying out de Nicoali's Baladin above 90 F (> 32 C).

Eric: I envy you if you can wear PdN's New York at anything like these temperatures. On me the juice that I love becomes insufferably sweet above 80 F (ca. 26 C).

My SOTD is something of a mystery, a sample bottle labeled simply "Eau d'Iles". It is very good, whatever it is, for I cannot find any reference to it anywhere. Does anyone know what this is? The scent is very intriguing and difficult to define. It has a "burnt" character, not unlike the smell when caramel is made. Can anyone help me out in identifying this?

I figured it out. The scent is Eau des Iles from MPG. Truly an impressive scent!
