Whats the smell like? Is it good?

I smelled it again yesterday and I was impressed. I didn't remember that it smells so good.

It's spicy, warm and still fresh. Very comforting. This time I even noticed the fig in it. I compared it to Herms Un Jardin en mediterrane and the fig note is stronger than I remembered. I like it, I'm even thinking about getting a bottle...

I ve been a fan always, although this one often is bashed here. I think its a good quality green/figgy almost bitter masculine scent with nice sillage.

:P Here in America it was a stink bomb.

To my nose fig is just too sweet for men's fragrance. Goodlife only lasted for 5 months in the department stores and then was pulled from retail.

Even the women's version didn't make it.

I must turn my nose up at it :P

Wow, this is one of those very rare times I disagree with you. I think Good Life is very good.

Didn't like it at all. Had something of that clashy ugliness of Dolce & Gabbana and something of that watery metallicness (yeah, that's a word) of Chrome.

Kinda "common" smelling, to my nose, and comes on very, very strong.

It's made by Pierre Bourdon ,who also made Coolwater
and Iris Poudre from Frederick Malle.

I agree. It is my SOTD and I've had it for a few years now. A green, sharp note predominates over the fig, with some light grapefruit on top. There is very nice sillage, and the effect is not unlike D&G PH, though with some fig, and Good Life is both deeper and darker than D&G by a nose. The base is especially nice when it arrives some hours later, with sandalwood and amber, and the same fig note that runs from top to bottom. Overall, this is a very nice and somewhat unique scent, certainly worthy of a try.
