There is also Crabtree&Evelyn round the corner in Friedrichstrasse and LUSH further/same street right at the S-Friedrichstrasse...That's what I call perfume paradise!

On the Tauentzienstrasse, there's the KaDeWe (Shopping Center of the West), they have Creeds and probably other niche stuff, too.
Tauentzienstr. 21-24, 10789 Berlin.
Then right there across the street there's also a Diamant Parfuemerie. There are about 8 of these throughout Berlin, it's one of those shops where you get 20% off of everything (although they don't carry niche stuff to my knowledge).

- There used to be a small but good perfume boutique in Uhlandstrasse, near Kudamm (Kurfuerstendamm).
- I believe that the shop of David should be listed here. It would make sense to have that address where one can find long lost perfumes and cosmetic stuff, particularly if a member runs it! I hear that flee markets offer treasures occasionally too.

Then Berlin has had a real attraction in the artisanal production of colognes and perfumes by Harry Lehmann. They have a website now but still run their shop in another side street further up Kudamm! The firm has existed since early 1900, in Imperial Germany. Their sales are still based on quantity (budget): 'perfume by ml'! And they make basic colognes like vetiver, musk, amber, as well as more adventurous compositions in various strengths, including solid perfume. There is no other place in Germany like that!

I could enter their addresses, but as an old 'exiled' citizen, I am not aware of possible recent and future changes in Berlin. This could best be handled by someone in Berlin. Also: with a high percentage of citizens from Turkish origin, there seems to be a market for authentic oriental perfumes and I know of at least one good shop for that.

Hurray - exactly the same address since when - 1927?

Addendum to the Galeries Lafayette: They now carry Bond No. 9 (and claim to be the exclusive retailer for this in Berlin)

The recently renovated Galeria Kaufhof at the Alexanderplatz carries some niche also. Don't know which exactly, but they have Creeds and Lutens.

I was very impressed with KaDeWe (Tauentzienstraße 21-24).
I noticed that they had the Creed range and also Etienne Aigner (which I couldn't find anywhere in the UK).
Sadly my German speaking is poor but they embarassed me by speaking perfect English.
Oh, and on each occasion I made a purchase they gave me a nice treat of several well-targetted trial packs.

I am accordingly impressed. I never even knew one could do that ! Is the technique described somewhere? Or does one have to be born with special skills?

It is very simple to create a map of your own on Google Maps, you just click on the place you want to save and choose save to one of your maps (or create a new map), works like a charm.

I was in David's shop today, and guess what, he is closing his shop in Berlin and moving to France by May! It was really nice meeting him today.

Thank you. I had been more impressed by those personal modifications (the blue darts) actually .

So glad the two of you met each other. I had not been able to contact him recently. I know he is moving, but I didn't really believe it would be a matter of weeks now. David plans to open a shop in southern France, and I hope he will find better conditions there. He will just have to arrange himself with lots of customers speaking another foreign language . He'll give us the address as soon as the shop is open, I am sure.

So as I said, if you choose to save a dart it turns into blue .

I am glad that I had a chance to meet him before his move. He talked about maybe open the shop in Grasse, that would be very cool. The funny thing is that I started the conversation by asking about Bandit (because I saw he had some vintage Piguet scents), and it wasn't until the end that I remembered he is a member here.

Hey german folks,
I'm going to stay in Berlin for 5 days in january and I was wondering where I could find a bottle of Caron Le 3me Homme (better if for cheap)... I can find the other Carons in Italy too but this seem not to be distributed in Italy and I really would like to own a bottle. Anyone can feed me some info?

I've read somewhere that KaDeWe was supposed to carry the whole line but I visited it recently and there was no trace of Roja Dove's perfumes...

Two months ago, a new perfumerie opened in Berlin: "Belle Rebelle", Bleibtreustrasse 42, between Kurfürstendamm and Kantstrasse. S-Bahn-Station Savignyplatz is near by. It is a small shop and they are the only ones in Berlin with Profumum Romas and Mona di Orio Scents! They also have the swedish brands Byredo and Agonist. They do not have much, but for me it is a place where I like to go....
