Anyone know where to find Xerjoff in Toronto!?
A place that I would HIGHLY recommend is called Jacob & Sebastian-622 Queen St West, Toronto (they have been around for 2 and a half years and are opening a second spot this November in the Distillery District). They are mostly about niche-market skin care, shaving and body products, but they definitely had a LOT of amazing scents. They carry Santa Maria Novella, CB I hate perfume, Boudicca, Compagnie de Provence and some lines I have not heard of such as "Portland General Store" (organic colognes that smell of tobacco, wood, whiskey etc...). Also, the gentleman working there mentioned they were bringing in L'Artisan. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the list! I would like to add Jacob & Sebastian at Queen and Bathurst. They are mostly about niche-market bath, body and skin care but had a great selection of Santa Maria Novella, I hate Perfume, and Boudicca. Also, the guy working said they were adding L'Artisan and Eau D'Italie to the roster this Dec. Cheers!

Winners on Front St. has some Creeds - GIT, Himalaya, Royal Water, Love in Black and Love in White. Prices range from $149.99 to $179.99. Perhaps other locations have some as well.

Dior exclusive line is not found in Toronto as far as I know. Chanel exclusives are found at the Chanel Boutique downtown Toronto, also the Holt Renfrew downtown Toronto.

I can vouch for The Perfume Outlet at Dixie mall. My dad's friend actually owns it, very nice guy who's given us great deals before. I remember when I purchased Le Male from him back in grade 10, he tried to get me to buy Cuba instead because he wanted me to save money haha but he gave me a decent deal on the Le Male 125mL tester and I got Cuba from him as well because it was dirt cheap and a nice back-up to use for school and lesser occasions. They have a decent selection and you can find some nice discontinued gems there. You can bargain with the owner a bit too, he's a nice guy.

Another one I've heard of is "The Greek Godfather". The operation sounds a little sketchy, the dude basically drives his perfume truck around the GTA and they also operate a warehouse in East York. Apparently he's a bit of a prick and if you want something you better know before you go into his truck cause he gets impatient and angry if you're standing around looking for perfumes. But people have said his prices are unbeatable, and he has some discontinued fragrances that pique my interest.

His website is www.ggf.ca, if anyone has had any experience with this guy please let me know, I want to check it out someday.

+1, no Dior boutiques that I know of here in Canada. I finally got to smell the line at Bergdorfs in NYC and the Dior store on 57th(?). I have bottles of the Leather Oud and Amber Nuit plus samples of Granville, Bois D'Argent, Mitzah, Granville and Eau Noir if anyone wants to meet up to smell them.

BTW I think the line's pretty decent, the packaging is very well done, and the prices are actually reasonable for Niche.

+1 for Jacob & Sebastian. Decent selection of a few, more obscure niche lines, which were listed above. I was just there a couple of days ago but they did not have L'Artisan... no idea whether it's coming eventually or not.

Also, I'd like to add Nomad (819 Queen St W / www.nomadshop.net) - in their store they have a fairly comprehensive selection of Heeley and Comme des Garçons, but no other lines apart from a few scented candles.

Did the Guerlain boutique close or relocate?

I drove past their store today and I thought it looked empty.

It's still on Bloor street, but relocated a few stores west of the old one.

Thanks for your reply. Happy to see that it is still there.

In other news, the Holt Renfrew at Yorkdale still has Tom Ford Japon Noir/Amber Absolute testers behind the counter. Good opportunity to smell these discontinued ones.

Unfortunately, no news on Noor yet. Everyone is anticipating their re-opening, but at this point we can only wait and have our fingers crossed. It was such a lovely boutique!
