I love this topic!! I am in Boulder, Colorado at present so I had to ship a couple of gifts to my fair one. I sent her a full 3.4 oz of Hanae Mori and a 1 oz of Hypnotic Poison to lift her spirits as she is in NY, 2,000 miles away. It was the best "long distance" V-Day ever! I miss her but she thanks everyone on this site for feeding me with cologne knowledge.

One breakup here - he stopped calling that day and I spent the evening in bed with chocolate and kleenex.
Worseover, next day was my birthday which as pretty much the same....

Very nice! Slept late while housekeeper whipped things into shape. Micah was off and made a family recipe of spaghetti sauce and meatballs. He chose Siberian iris instead of roses which struck me as so cool. No chocolate, bless him. And I make a nice salad with all his favorite additions. My sons had McDonald's and each said Happy Valentine's Day and gave me a hug. Samuel looked in his goody bag from school and picked out his least favorite to share with me. And I said 'You're kidding!! This is my favorite!!' Bleh, though! Chocolate covered marshmellow egg. He looked very open minded however, like, well, its possible...stranger things have happened...Mama does eat salad afterall!!!

I spent the day deriding happy couples with friends & listening to angry music.. drank a gallon of orange juice, ate dried rose petals, went to therapy :]
