Basenotes Wardrobe Etiquette question

Newbie question. If you only have a small vial of a fragrance, does that qualify as "I own this" in the wardrobe section? So far I have only listed frags that I have bought bottles of.

I've been wondering about this as well......

Personally, I only list bottles, but it seems like each person does it differently.

I'd put it in "I've tried this". But that's just me.

Of course there are no rules and a person can do whatever s/he wants. What I do is I list anything a mini or over, including decants, as a fragrance that I own. About 25% of my collection are minis and decants--the rest are full sized. For sample vials I list them under "to test" and "tested."

Keep in mind that I'm a compulsive list maker.

I generally include in the "My collection" decants or full bottles only. and when they're gone and I don't replace 'em I pass 'em into "owned list".
About tested and to test... I'm a bit lazy about keeping 'em updated, but I include in tested all scents I've tested (at least even only sprayed once in a shop...) and not only samples I have.

I think i read it somewhere here a while ago that our wardrobe would have a function that can indicate whether or not the fragrance is a bottle, a decant or a sample. Have to get more details from the Basenotes boss on this one. ;D

I only post full-sized bottles on my wardrobe. I never include decants, vials, or minis.

I list decants and full bottles on my collection, but I did feel compelled to add a disclaimer in the intro so people wouldn't think I was a bazillionaire. Grant took a poll for what feature to add next, and I answered with more wardrobe flexibility. I want to be able to type in non-database fragrances, and mark which ones are decants or full bottles.

Thing is, I'm actually proud of my full bottles! 8-) I think it marks which scents I'm really committed to for the longterm. The other thing that's neurotic about me is that if I get a bottle I don't like, as a gift say, I won't put it in my wardrobe. Cuz it's not...me. :P

Geezo, I gotta go redo my drobe right now.... : I know!! I can put all my full bottles in the decantable list!! Mon dieu! It's genius!! GENIUS, I SAY!!! ;D ;D ;D
