I grew tired of trying to find a candle or room spray that smelled like pipe tobacco burning, so today, I figured what the heck--let's give this idea I had a little try. Several months ago, I bought one of those cheap oil burners where you put the tea-light candles underneath. Today, I bought a bag of cherry flavored pipe tobacco and put a little bit in the plate, and lit a candle underneath. Within about 10 minutes, the room started to fill up with the smell of cherry pipe tobacco. So far, just as is the case with burning the oils, I see just a waft of smoke coming from the plate as the tobacco warms up. I don't see a lot of smoke at all, but the smell is definately strong as the minutes pass by. So, if you're like me and want to smell pipe tobacco but don't smoke, give the oil burner a try. All in all, it's relatively inexpensive.

I'll guarantee it. you'll smell the rich pipe tobacco as soon as you open the carton, and after burning it for a half hour, you will think grandpa was in the room with his pipe. it's not an artificial tobacco-like scent either -- this is the real deal. it's a little pricey at about $35, but totally worth every penny. you'll just have to look up their website and either find a local "stockist" shop, or buy from an online vendor. I buy from Jayson Home online. try one of them, you won't be sorry!
