i just found out recently that i have a new job! starting august 26th, i'll be working onboard the Galaxy with celebrity cruise lines. i'll be working in the duty free shop selling fragrances / cosmetics. i'm very excited. even more so now that i found out i'll be flying to rome to meet the ship where i'll be doing mediterranean cruises for a few months before heading to texas where i'll be doing mexican / panama canal cruises.
the best part of the job is, since the shops are duty free, we are forbidden to open while the ship is in port..so i get to get off the ship and enjoy the ports (about 90% of the time) so.. if any of you european basenoters know of any exciting things to do in the following ports, i'd greatly appreciate the feedback (ex: places to shop, buy fragrances, eat lunch..). the european ports i'll be visiting are:

Genoa, Italy
Naples, Italy
Messina, Sicily, Italy
Mykonos, Greece

Santorini, Greece
