I wore this today and I adore it. Like other fragrances by Olivia Giacobetti, such as En Passant, Premier Figuier, and Dzing!, Mandarine tout Simplement smells alive. It has a bit of a "fresh air" quality, but mostly it is a sparkling, pure, lovely bright orange. I smell orange blossom, lemon blossom, and orange fruit in the topnotes and these smells are uplifting to me. MtS is like a long, happy summer day in a bottle.
I pick up definite notes of green mango that are reminiscent of Premier Figuier and Un Jardin Sur le Nil. Other notes (as listed by L'Artisan) are: mandarin. mandarin peel, ginger, green mango, pink pepper berries, cardamom karo-karoundé, incense, papyrus wood, patchouli, myrrh, vetiver and benzoin. Despite the deep basenotes this is a bright, fresh fragrance throughout its development. Mandarine tout Simplement stays close to my skin and lasts all day. It doesn't have a lot of sillage, but I can smell it on my skin 7 hours after I applied it. It's lovely, and a full bottle is a future purchase. I highly recommend giving this one a try to fans of Ananas Fizz, Un Zeste d'Ete, and Thé Pour un Ete.
