Need some recommendations

Could you knowledgeable ladys give me some recommendations for a scent to buy for my grandmother?

She told me that she would like a fragrance with a dominant note of freesia. She has a very sensitive nose and can't stand sweet-heavy scents (she found repulsive and vulgar scents like Angel, Opium, Coco, Brit etc). She prefers semifresh-floral fragrances and her favorites are Fidji, L'Air du Temps, Diorella, some Guerlains but I don't remember which; she also wore many bottles of Eau Sauvage.

From their description I think she may enjoy VC&A Murmure, Tendre Posison, Azzaro Eau Belle, Eau de Rochas, Chaumet, Eau de Chaumet.... Of these I tried Tendre Poison (I can detect the freesia in it but the fragrance seems a little strong) and Eau Belle (I like this one but seems more appropriate for a young woman). What do you think about the others? Feel free to make other suggestions too!

Thanks for the help!

I think you can't go wrong with the tendre Poison EDT or even the body products. It's surely not stronger than Fidji or the others. (she has great taste BTW)
Eau Belle is also very nice and I don't think the age -ppropriatness thing is an issue ( at least not with this one ,LOL)

Good luck!

When I grow old (khm, older..., khm), I want to be a grandma like yours! My respect!

Dyptique Ofresia is what she needs, at least to try. Another suggestion would be Oscar de la Renta Intrusion in EDT form. Chanel Cristalle is a timeless beauty, too.

Yes you're right. She told me that she likes very much Guerlain's Vetiver, I don't know if on herself or just on me. But I think that the vetiver note in Eau Sauvage is not that prominent.

I must be dreaming.

I love Guerlain Vetiver, too. Sometimes I layer it with their Aqua Allegorias or Amor Allegorias.

Oops. Did I say Amor Allegoria? So sorry. I meant Aroma Allegoria.

Some of these have been discontinued and are difficult to find, the Grosellina and Tutti Kiwi are very new:

Aroma Allegoria Apaisant Â*
Aroma Allegoria Exaltant Â* Â*
Aroma Allegoria Foliflora
Aroma Allegoria Vitalisant Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Herba-Fresca Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Lavande Velours Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Pamplelune Â* Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Rosa Magnifica Â* Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Ylang & Vanille Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Flora Nerolia Â* Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Winter Delice Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Lilia Bella Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Lemon-Fresca Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Anisia Bella Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Mentafollia Â* Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Orange Magnifica Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Pivoine Magnifica Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Grosellina Â* Â*
Aqua Â* Allegoria Tutti Kiwi

Rosa Magnifica, Lavande Velours, Lilia Bella and Lemon-Fresca are my favorites although I haven't tried Grosellina or Kiwi.

My mother loves Lilia Bella and Rosa Mgnifica, too; Diorissimo is also one of her favorites.
