L'Occitane suggestions?

I just discovered that I have nothing from L'Occitane and a store within 5 minutes' slow stroll from my apartment. A crime!

Any suggestions on what I should get?

Vetyver.

I will suggest the limited edition of eau de parfume 7 fleurs definitely.

Composed by 7 flowers, rose, iris, mimosa, narcissus, neroli, tubrose, and jasmine, this delicate and transparent scent smells just beautiful~

Thanks for the suggestions; both of those are definitely now on my list.

What about their "Rose" scent? Does it smell like rose, or are there a lot of additional other notes?

I think I want something very straightforwardly rose-smelling...

I'm thinking of maybe getting a bunch of their solid perfumes and trying them all out before I actually buy anything.

Have you jumped the fence and visited makeupalley.com? Lots of opinions there about L'Occitane frags. The Eau Des 4 Reines seems popular for its simplicity of rose scent. I've tried only the Recolte Bleue, and now figure I'm just not a lavender person. They do have some of the best-looking packaging.

Eau des 4 Reines is a pure rose scent. It's pleasant in the mornings sometimes because it's the only soapy rose I own.

Thanks, Shycat.

I've been looking something similar to Tea Rose, but not as cheap and as "killer".

Disclaimer: every time I call a fragrance "cheap" or some other icky word, I mean the way it smells on me; obviously, if there are lovers of said fragrances, they don't smell cheap on everyone.

I think you'd like Eau de 4 Reines if what you want is apure rose scent. It's composed of 4 different rose types: Grasse Rose, Turkish, Moroccan and Bulgarian, with "hints" of blackcurrant and violet.
It's very refreshing, I've been using it a lot in summer, when the full rose scents like Paris are sort of too sticky :P It reminds me of Aqua Allegoria line, with its simplicity and elegance for evey day.
Hope you'll enjoy it!!!

Neroli edp (not the edt). Very redolent and heady, not sweet.

Verbena is very pretty and refreshing, and the Honey Harvest Gentle Honey water has a sweet, delicate honey/honeysuckle smell that can be cheerful on gloomy days.

I also suggest the Neroli EDP. Â*It is outrageous!
